After a fantastic extended weekend at the New York City Horror Film Festival, "Last Rites of the Dead" was the proud winner of both the BEST ACTRESS and BEST SCREENPLAY award. Congratulations to Gina Ramsden who gave Angela the life and passion she deserved. We had the most amazing time at the festival this year, spending time with our fellow filmmakers and Horror greats. A great big thank you to all the judges who thought us worthy of these honors and to Michael Hein and Anthony Pepe for spending thousands of thankless hours putting such a great festival together.

7/13/06 Fast Ali VOTE FOR ALI!

Ali plays a machete wielding, cold blooded zombie slayer in "Last Rites of the Dead" and apparently we are not the only ones who think she is bad-ass - she is a finalist in Fangoria Radio's Scream Queen contest. She will be live on Sirius radio channel 102 FRIDAY JULY 14 from 10pm - 2am with Dee Snider and Debbie Rochon. Tune in to listen to the show and call or email in to show your support! Click on Ali's pic to go to the Fangoria radio website http://www.fangoriaradio.com/main.html

It's not a formal vote, but click "CONTACT US" on the left side of the fangoria radio page to send an email or call in!
Update: Even though Ali didn't win, she's still our favorite zombie slayer!

11/6/05 german boxcover Insane-o-Rama is pleased to announce that "Strange Things Happen at Sundown" has been released in Germany as "Vampire Sundown - Die Vampir-Mafia" The description of the movie, which I have badly translated through a free web translator, is hysterical.
"Jimmy Fangs and its sidekicks are Mafiagangster and Vampire. When they are pulled with a bent Deal over the table, they hire the Reaper on, a thousand years old killer. Still substantially more dangerously however is a mysterioese leather bride with over uebermenschlichen (superhuman) forces, which all Vampire would like to kill... VAMPIRE SUNDOWN - blood-thirsty Splatterkult as mixture from GOOD FELLAS and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. Won: Public price New York town center horror film Festival!"
